9 Events You MUST Attend for Bermuda Carnival

Bermuda Carnival is officially here and there is so much to see and do. In this post, I’m going to take you through the must-do events, which kick off tomorrow. I’ve put together a short video, which you can watch and then gone through the details of the events below. Let’s do this!

Thursday, June 13

EVOLVE

The party to kick off the weekend has always been Evolve. This year, organisers are inviting patrons to be prepared to be engulfed in colour when Grey Goose presents Evolve: Vibrant Colors edition at Fort Hamilton. Evolve is a sunset party and one of the best of the weekend.

Friday, June 14

MIMOSA SUNRISE

This breakfast fete is held on White’s Island starting at 5am. It’s drinks inclusive and promises to be an amazing party with Bermudian and international talent. Tickets are $80 and on sale here: https://www.ptix.bm/Event/3403/Mimosa-Sunrise-Fete

SICK LEAVE – THE CRUISE EDITION

Taking Place on the MV Bermuda Longtail with music by The Miami Dream Team and special guests, this is a cruise you don’t want to miss. It is food inclusive and the boat boards at Albuoy’s Point at 12pm. Tickets are $45 and available here: https://www.ptix.bm/Event/3403/Mimosa-Sunrise-Fete 

SIP N DIP

Sip n Dip is a pool party/happy hour vibe at Newstead. It’s the carnival version of the weekly happy hour hosted by DJ Rusty G. This week, guests are invited to come in their swimwear and a enjoy a dip in the pool while listening to soca music. There is no cover charge and there will be happy hour drink prices. Sip n Dip starts at 5pm.

Saturday, June 15

MAI TAI ISLAND

A sunrise fete, Mai Tai Island promises you will escape the ordinary during Bermuda Carnival. Organised by Caesar’s Army and Nova Mas, Mai Tai will be held at the Arboretum from 3am to 9am. The dress code is tropical chic and the event is drinks inclusive. This year’s event features Teddyson John, Mr. Killa and Nadia Batson.

EUPHORIA

Euphoria is a drinks-inclusive party taking place at Chaplin Bay Beach. It kicks off at 10pm with 75% soca and 25% DJs choice with DJ Private Ryan, Back 2 Basics, Tony X, Elegance Sound, DJ Mystro and DJ Jim Brown.

Sunday, June 16

WETTA

Get ready for the best wet fete of carnival weekend! Presented by International Island Boys, Wetta promises water, liquor and unlimited vibes. It will be held at Tobacco bay starting at 9am and is all inclusive.

GLOW

Glow is one of Bermuda Carnival’s premiere events for the grown and sexy. With an all-white dress code, it’s a sexy day party at Queen Elizabeth Park. All drinks and meals are included, and the party starts at 4pm.

PURE

PURE is celebrating is 10th anniversary this year with Destra And Shensea along with Bermudian artists and DJs including Ponaflex and Rusty G. It will be held at National Sports Centre under the big tent.
