Three Reasons to Try Grey Goose Ducasse

Over the weekend, I was invited to sample the new Grey Goose Ducasse at Hamilton Princess here in Bermuda and I couldn’t turn that down. First off, I love me some vodka and secondly, I’m a Grey Goose girl. I had to see what the fuss was about. Plus, it was date night for the hubby and I so it was a win win.

Grey Goose Interpreted by Ducasse is a partnership between Grey Goose, distributed in Bermuda by Bacardi and Alain Ducasse, the famed chef. The description of the vodka is: “Grey Goose is married to an assemblage of toasted French wheat for a luxuriously complex and full-bodied taste”.

I sipped the vodka straight from a shot glass and enjoyed it in an amazing cocktail – L’Espresso Martini, which has the vodka, patron XO Café, espresso and fleur de sel. Because the martini doesn’t have normal ingredients for an espresso martini such as Bailey’s, it was a way more sophisticated flavour.

Here are three reasons you should try out Grey Goose Ducasse:

This vodka is unlike any other vodka

First off, it’s double the price of normal Grey Goose so you know it’s gonna be good. Secondly, its even smoother than normal Grey Goose. I personally love Le Citron in a cocktail or over ice with sparkling water. Grey Goose Ducasse is even smoother than Le Citron, which is saying something.

The L’Espresso Martini truly is a special cocktail

If you enjoy espresso martinia, you will love this. It’s smooth and bright with a strong coffee/chocolate flavour. I felt very sophisticated sitting at the bar at Marcus slowly sipping this ice cold cocktail. It wasn’t sweet at all, just straight up simple, high-quality ingredients. Such a treat!

It’s sexy AF

I mean, Grey Goose on its own is super sexy but now, there’s an even sexier vodka in the Grey Goose house? Sign me up immediately. Not to mention the wheat used to make the vodka is roasted in cocao ovens, which gives that complex coffee flavour. Sooo sexy.

If you enjoy high quality vodka and love coffee, the L’Espresso Martini is for you. It’s very different from a normal espresso martini and trust me, that’s a good thing.
